2.Good sealing

3. Reduction of tin

The tin on the inner wall of the tinplate will interact with the oxygen remaining in the container during filling, reducing the chance of food ingredients being oxidized. The reducing effect of tin has a good preservation effect on the flavor and color of light-colored fruits and juices. Therefore, juice cans packed in unpainted iron cans have better nutritional preservation than juice cans packed in other packaging materials, and the browning is lighter. The flavor quality is better accepted and the storage life is extended.

4. Provide a source of effective iron

Tinplate canned foods, except for a few light-colored fruit and juice cans, mostly use empty cans that are painted inside to improve the corrosion resistance of the container. Due to the electrochemical effect of the metal, there will be a small amount of canned food in painted cans during storage. The iron is leached out and exists in the form of divalent iron in sealed canned foods. It is easily absorbed by the human body and the content is about 1 to 10 ppm. For fruit and vegetable products, the raw materials themselves do not contain much iron. Iron canned products are calculated based on the iron content of 5ppm per can of a 350ml beverage can. Each can can provide 1.75mg of iron, which is about ten times the human daily intake of 18mg. one part.
