Uses: Suitable for manufacturing leaf springs with medium and small cross-sections, such as front and rear auxiliary leaf springs on automobiles.
55SiMnVB
--Characteristics: Strength, toughness, plasticity and hardenability are all higher than 60Si2MnA steel, critical hardening diameter in oil is about 50~107mm; thermal processing performance is good, surface decarburization tendency is small during heat treatment, tempering stability it is good. Uses: It is suitable for manufacturing leaf springs and helical springs with medium-sized cross-sections, and can replace 60SiMnA steel.
60SiMn, 60Si2MnA
--Compared with 55Si2Mn steel, the strength and elastic limit are slightly higher (60Si2MnA steel is better), and the hardenability is also better. The critical hardenability in oil is about 37~73mm, and other properties are the same; mainly used The state is quenched and tempered at medium temperature. --Characteristics and uses are similar to 60Si2CrA steel, but the elastic limit and high temperature mechanical properties are better. Uses: It is suitable for manufacturing heat-resistant springs used at working temperatures below 300~350°C and important springs that withstand impact stress and high loads.
55CeMnA, 60CrMnA
--Characteristics: high strength, plasticity, poor weldability, fair machinability, better hardenability than silicon-manganese or silicon-chromium spring steel, high criticality in oil, lower decarburization tendency than silicon-manganese steel, tempering The brittleness tends to be large, so the appropriate tempering temperature and cooling rate should be selected; it is generally used in the state of quenching and tempering at medium temperature. 50CrVA
