CHECKERED STEEL COIL
The hot-rolled coil is made of continuous casting slab or blooming slab as raw material, heated by a walking furnace, descaled by high-pressure water, and then enters the rough rolling mill. Controlled rolling, after the final rolling, it undergoes laminar cooling (computer controlled cooling rate) and coiler coils to become a straight hair coil.
The checkered steel plate can be used as floors, factory escalators, working frame pedals, ship decks, and automobile floor plates because of its ribbed surface and anti-skid effect.
The specification of checkered steel plate is represented by the basic thickness (thickness of ribs is not counted), and there are 10 specifications of 2.5-8mm
Hot-rolled products have excellent properties such as high strength, good toughness, easy processing and good weldability, so they are widely used in manufacturing industries such as construction, machinery, boilers, and pressure vessels.
Applications:
(1) After annealing, it is processed into ordinary cold rolling;
(2) The galvanizing unit with pre-annealing treatment device processes galvanizing;
(3) Panels that basically do not require processing.
Hot rolling is relative to cold rolling, cold rolling is rolling below the recrystallization temperature, and hot rolling is rolling above the recrystallization temperature. To put it simply, a billet is heated and rolled several times, then trimmed and corrected to become a steel plate. This is called hot rolling. Can significantly reduce energy consumption and reduce costs. The metal has high plasticity and low deformation resistance during hot rolling, which greatly reduces the energy consumption of metal deformation.
Features of hot rolling:
1. Low energy consumption, good plastic processing, low deformation resistance, no obvious work hardening, easy rolling, and reduced energy consumption required for metal deformation.
2. Hot rolling usually uses large ingots and large reductions for rolling. The production rhythm is fast and the output is large, which creates conditions for large-scale production.
3. The as-cast structure is transformed into a processed structure through hot rolling, and the plasticity of the material is greatly improved through the transformation of the structure.
4. The characteristics of the rolling method determine that there is anisotropy in the properties of the rolled sheet. First, there are obvious performance differences in the longitudinal, transverse and high directions of the material. Second, there are deformation textures and recrystallization textures.
Advantages
(1) Hot rolling can significantly reduce energy consumption and cost. The metal has high plasticity and low deformation resistance during hot rolling, which greatly reduces the energy consumption of metal deformation.
(2) Hot rolling can improve the processing performance of metals and alloys, that is, the coarse grains in the casting state are broken, the cracks are significantly healed, the casting defects are reduced or eliminated, the as-cast structure is transformed into a deformed structure, and the processing performance of the alloy is improved.
(3) Hot rolling usually adopts large ingot and rolling with large reduction, which not only improves production efficiency, but also creates conditions for increasing rolling speed and realizing continuous and automatic rolling process.
