Galvalume is a prefabricated steel obtained by hot-dipping a layer of 55% aluminum-zinc coating on the surface of cold-rolled sheets of various strengths and thicknesses. Its process is similar to galvanized coil, but due to the addition of aluminum, it has stronger corrosion resistance and heat resistance, and is widely used in various industries.
The surface of the galvalume steel plate has a unique smooth, flat and gorgeous spangle, and the base color is silvery white. The normal service life of the galvalume sheet can reach 25a, the heat resistance is very good, and it can be used in a high temperature environment of 315°C; the adhesion between the coating and the paint film is good, and it has good processing performance, and can be stamped, cut, welded, etc., Very good surface conductivity.

Performance characteristics of galvalume
1.Heat resistance.The heat resistance of galvalume steel far exceeds that of galvanized sheet and cold-rolled coil, and it will notchange even if it is used for a long time at a temperature of 550°C.
2.Thermal Response Properties.The surface of the galvalume plate is not only beautiful, but also has good reflective properties. It has a reflectivity of 80% below 500°C and a reflectivity of 95% under infrared rays.
3.Corrosion resistance.The oxide film of aluminum has good stability, so the galvalume corrosion resistance of the surface layer is much better than that of galvanized sheet.

Precautions for using galvalume sheet
1.Storage: should be stored in the warehouse and other indoor, keep dry and ventilated 1 do not place in acidic climate for a long time. Outdoor storage should prevent rain, to avoid condensation caused by oxidation stains.
2.Transportation: To avoid external impact, the transportation vehicle should be supported by SKID steel coil, reduce stacking and take good rain proof measures.
3.Processing: Coil center shear processing, need to use the same lubricating oil aluminum plate. When drilling or cutting aluminum plated zinc steel plate, the scattered iron filings should be removed in time.
The difference between galvalume sheet and galvanized sheet
The difference between the galvalume sheet and the galvanized sheet is mainly the difference in the coating. The surface of the galvanized sheet is evenly distributed with a layer of zinc material, which acts as an anodic protection for the base metal, that is, an alternative corrosion protection for the zinc material. Without the use of the base metal, only when the zinc is completely corroded can the base metal inside be damaged.
The surface coating of the galvalume sheet has a honeycomb structure on the microscopic surface of the galvalume coating.
