The finishing line (leveling, straightening, cross-cutting or slitting, inspection, weighing, packaging and marking, etc.) is processed into steel sheets, flat rolls and slitting steel strip products.

Classification of hot rolled coils based on thickness:

 

Hot-rolled coils generally include medium-thickness wide steel strip and thin wide steel strip.

1. Medium-thickness wide strip refers to the thickness of ≥ 3 mm and < 20 mm, width ≥ 600 mm, with continuous hot rolling mill or furnace coil mill and other equipment production, delivery of steel coils.
2. Thin wide steel strip refers to thickness <3 mm, width ≥ 600 mm, with continuous hot rolling mill or furnace coil mill or thin slab continuous rolling and other equipment production, delivery of steel coils.





 

Product Application

 

Hot-rolled coil is the raw material for almost all steel products, such as cold-rolled coil, galvanized coil, pre-painted coil, angle steel, H Beam, flat steel, steel pipe, etc.

Uses of hot rolled steel:

(1) Structural steel: mainly used in the production of structural steel parts, bridges, ships and vehicles.

(2) Automotive structural steel: high strength steel plates with good stamping and welding properties, used in the production of automotive FRAME, WHEEL, etc.

(3) hot-rolled special steel: general mechanical structure with carbon steel, alloy steel, tool steel, after heat treatment works for the production of various mechanical parts.
